South of Imagination and east of Flor de Caña lies Blacktip Island, the setting for Tim W. Jackson’s award-nominated novel, Blacktip Island, as well as the follow-up novel The Secret of Rosalita Flats and for his many short stories.

The Blacktip Times is a weekly record of news and events in the island’s small community of dreamers, reprobates and ne’er-do-wells.

Blacktip Island is fictional. Names, characters, places and incidents are the product of the author’s imagination. Any resemblance to actual people, living or dead, business establishments, events or locales is entirely coincidental.

  1. Post about dirigible service was suggested on page of friend who posted dirigible as word of day. And that has led to “Hmm, I’m going to have to check this out.”

To Whom It May Concern: I just read the article about the artificial gills. They seem to be having a problem due to the large amount of oxygen humans need. The size of the gills would be so big, (344 square meters!!)- nobody would be able to wear it. I have an idea nobody has mentioned, so I don’t think it’s has been researched yet, & I’d like to contact Jun Kamei. Wil someone please give him this msg, &ask him to contact me. Thank You

PS- I’d leave my contact info, but I don’t think this msg is private. It’s just that, so far, this is the only way I’ve found to possibly contact Jun Kamei. So any help would be appreciated.
